Clamping with air cushions
Secure clamping and fixing in assembly fixtures – a practical example.
Our TrustTube® air cushions are designed specifically for industrial use.
In the application example shown below, the TrustTube®/PowerCushion® air cushions are used to clamp a cable in an assembly fixture. The cable is pushed into the fixture. The air cushions are then pressurised. The cable is then drawn in with the help of the eyelets on the assembly fixture.
